If you can help on on Chipping Event days, please let us know when (morning or afternoon), what duties you can help with addition we are looking for volunteers for that day. E.g. – Help your neighbors load slash, – Help unload slash at the chipper site, – Staff the entry point and inspect loads to ensure there are no nails, no trash and no loose needles, – Provide lunch or water or snacks. If you have a trailer and tie-down straps and are willing to drive the neighborhoods, we’ll assign some crew members to help you load and haul. If you have volunteer hours or have spent money promoting Firewise please report those items on the form also. These hours are used to support grant applications which will help continue the work of Firewise.
