We want to thank again the Brazos Firewise volunteers and the owners and staff of Fishtail Ranch for the success of the second chipping event held last Saturday, July 15, 2023.

Even though the delivered loads were fewer than expected the volume of the loads were much larger and included larger limbs and tree trunks.

We especially want to thank Lee and Valerie Weiss the owners of Fishtail Ranch, and the following volunteers from Firewise who came to the aid early in the morning when it was clear their help was needed:  Brian Gallagher, Steve Moya, Tom Aragon, and Leo Sedillo.  If you see these neighbors, please give them a huge thank you.  Without their help it would have been a much longer day.  Thank you, everyone, for your help to make the Brazos and Ponderosa a safer and healthier place to live.
