Fire Adapted New Mexico Resources

The Fire Adapted New Mexico Learning Network works with communities throughout the state of New Mexico, helping them understand and take responsibility for wildlife risk within their community.  They encourage communities to take action to protect residents, homes neighborhoods, businesses infrastructure, forests and open spaces before, during and after a fire.

On June 7, 2025 at our Annual Firewise Meeting in the Brazos Canyon, we were honored to have Megan Rangel-Lynch from the Forest Stewards Guild speak to community members about the relationship between Fire Adapted and Firewise and why the Brazos needs to be ready for a wildfire.
